Hold me!
One of my top songs (as of right now :) ) is Hold Me by Jamie Grace
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISgr8SgCYbY (heres a link to the song). It is an amazing song and it talks about how God holds those who are His. At times I confess that I have a hard time. I question God. Where are You in this?? Why did this have to happen?? Last week on the 6th my mom dropped some cans of chicken on my foot COMPLETE ACCIDENT! and it broke the lower bone in my toe in half and left a gash that had to have stitches. I had to go to the ER and I didn't get home till around 2 am, then I still had to go to school the next morning. I had to be on full crutches for the last week and a half and now I am in a boot that is a bit irritating. Some of my friends are going through tough stuff, and there are other issues in my life that have been going on for awhile that I just can't wait to be resolved. Worst of all I sometimes grow discontent... :/ BUT this song is amazing and is explains how I feel. I just LOVE the way God holds me! He loves me soooo much! I am His, and He is mine and nothing can ever change that. It is hard to comprehend why He would love someone like me, but that just adds to the wonder of Him. I am amazed. I am in love with Him and even when no one else is there to hold me I know that He is. Even with how much I love Him my love is sooooo finite. He loved me enough to die for me! yet, when I get a busted toe I complain?? :/ Rather lame of me... Thank goodness for His grace! The song says that "He takes each and everyday and makes it special in some way" how true! There is ALWAYS something I can rejoice in Him. What an AWESOME God I serve (though I am not the best at serving Him). I LOVE THE WAY HE HOLDS ME! ^_^ <3 <3 <3

Oy vey! :)
Well, finished another semester of college!!! HALLELUJAH! And even better I am DONE taking math classes!! :) It isn't that I am not good at math. I am pretty good at it, I just have never really liked it... :P :) Anyway, I am done with that and soon enough I will be done with my current University and transferring to a new one! Assuming I get my acceptance that is. It is amazing how fast everything has gone by! Just under a year ago I was starting my first term as a college student, and now I will soon be in a classroom (I am studying to get my B.S. Ed. or Bachelors of Science in Education.. or more simply a major in Elementary Education). There is so much to do, so much yet so little time. Time is such a precious thing, and God has made me more aware of it. I often times seem to be looking to much into the future to see what I have now. There are things I long for for my future, but my future is happening right now! It is a weird thought if you have hours to pour into thinking about it, but really your future is going to be made up of the decisions and plans that you make now. I know that that has been said before, but until you start thinking about it, and living it it is just a saying and nothing more. Time is of the essence, but at the say time don't be so overwhelmed with the future and what it hold that you don't hold on to what you have right now. I know that i struggle with this, and thank goodness I serve a loving God who, even though He knows how stupid I am/can be He still loves me and teaches me. Also though, I have so many friends whom I have talked to recently who just can't wait to be done with things in their lives and I am not talking about being done with math class, things that are much more important. They can't wait to not be single any longer, they can't wait to move away from their parents, they can't wait for.... etc. Fill in your own blank. I love what Corrie-Ten-Boom said when she said "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." No one knows for sure what their future holds, life can change in the blink of an eye, and I know this fact all to well. Don't miss the present for the future.

Quoty...
I have this hobby I guess you could call it where I collect quotes. If I find a quote I like I write it in my quote book. I just love quotes. So for awhile I have wanted to write a post of different quotes. I am probably going to make it into different segments cause it would take me awhile to write them all down, plus it would be an insanely long post, so here goes round one of quotes!
You, it is you now who must act. If you do nothing, nothing shall be done.
~Elisabeth Elliot an excerpt from her book No Graven Image
O God fill my soul with so entire a love of you that I may love nothing, but for Your sake and in subordination with Your love. Give me grace to study Your knowledge daily, that the more I know You, the more I may love You. Create in me a zealous obedience to all Your commands, a cheerful patience under all Your chastisements, and a thankful resignation to all Your disposals. Let it be the one business of my life to glorify You by every word of my tongue, by every work on my hand, by professing Your truth, and by engaging all men so far as in my lies, to glorify and love You.
~John Wesley
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.
~Corrie-Ten-Boom
Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Eve-il???
Most of us know the history of sin. Sin entered the world when Eve ate of the tree and Adam likewise. (Though technically Eve sinned before then because she told a lie). When talking to different people it is amazing how many will say that it is Eves fault, or "it was that woman" or something to the effect of "I don't think that I would have cursed us all with sin by doing such a stupid thing as eating from a tree." Lets face the facts though.. Everyday we give into temptation, EVERYDAY! We sin everyday. Even the "good things" we do only count for filthy rags. Yet Eve seems to be the name that is almost synonymous with sin. Why should she be held accountable when all of us do as she did? We don't fight sin. We might use the excuse saying that it is in our nature, but if we don't fight temptation then we are doing the same thing as Eve. In some of the studies I have been involved in as of lat,e the topics have been death, life, salvation, and what happens after death
Death: On this topic I hate to inform you all, but... the number one cause of termination is death. We all know that death is a fact of life (rather ironic saying though...). We all must succumb to death. So much more could be said on death, but the basic part is we all die.
Life: In a song by SuperChik they say that "everyone dies, but not everyone lives." Sooooo true! We all die in the end, but how many people truly live?? When I say truly live I mean how many people live for Christ? How many people are actually alive during life?
Salvation: No one comes to the Father, but through Christ. The only way to be saved is through the cross, through the blood that was spilled on our accounts.
What happens after death: Depends on where your treasure is. If your treasure is here on earth then enjoy those treasures while you can because where you are going they will melt and/or burn. If you are among the saved then rejoice and do not be afraid of death. It has no sting. For the saints their treasure is in heaven where nothing can destroy it and no one can take it away, but much more importantly that is where God is.
